EL 24 DE ENERO SAN CRISTÓBAL, MARACAIBO Y CARACAS HARÁN CADENAS ANTITAURINAS
En la capital tachirense la cita es en la avenida España, esquina Pabellones con Semáforo Nuevo al medio día. En Caracas la Plaza Brión de Chacaíto será el lugar de encuentro a las 2:00 Pm y en Maracaibo está aún por confirmar locación.
Aunada a la Cadeneta Humana, también se plantea realizar unas mesas informativas sobre la tauromaquia y la recolección de firmas para solicitar a las autoridades la abolición de las tradiciones crueles con animales.
Considerando que el dominio por la fuerza y la humillación de un ser indefenso en ningún caso se puede llamar cultura, sino que constituye un homenaje a la peor crueldad humana, que es hacer del dolor una fiesta se exhorta a los jóvenes a participar en estos eventos.
Las administraciones públicas son propietarias de la mayoría de las plazas venezolanas, y las que no como el caso del Nuevo Circo de Caracas ya están destinadas por la vía del patrimonio a la responsabilidad de las alcaldías. Y a pesar de las quejas de la inmensa mayoría de los contribuyentes que no desean apoyar con sus impuestos esta barbarie que los intereses taurinos tratan desesperadamente de mantener e incentivar, siguen exigiendo un mayor número de corridas en los pliegos de adjudicación de los concursos taurinos.
